Type of class (Parent participation is welcome at all levels in all classes)
Mom & child/Hoikuen (0-3 years)
Language development starts before birth. In the first 3 years of life, the same synaptic connections occurs for learning all languages so infants and toddlers can acquire a second language as easily as their first language. They learn best through discovery and exploring and will learn to talk using only the sounds and words they pick up from their environment. Hearing parents speak English aids their language development.

Kindergarten (3-5 years)
Pre-school age is the 'taking in time, the most powerfully absorbent stage of language development. When working with materials that fully engage them, children are relaxed and contented. While engaged in meaningful play, they are simultaneously being stimulated by the spoken language around them. Parents play very special roles in their child's learning because they are secondary teachers of the language. The more parents speak to the children in English, the more the children will learn.
Elementary (5-8 years)
This age group is independent and thirsty for challenge. In a prepared environment where the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, and children are linked to it through well-thought out projects, they feel a sense of belonging. This facilitates the child's exploration and creativity. In this way, children have the enjoyment of freeplay and pretend play, but subconsciously they are learning sound discrimination, vocabulary, intonation and sentence structure.
Mixed age (3-8 years)
In the early years, mixed aged classes provide wonderful learning experiences for all ages. The younger children are helped by the older children and learn to trust and the older children help younger children and learn kindness. Children are more at ease and when they are allowed freedom in a prepared environment, suited to their needs, they blossom. This atmosphere creates many opportunities for spontaneous language development.
